P.S.

Forgot to mention something else about my visit to the doc...

They weighed me.

And get this...I currently weigh 158 lbs.
Just so you know I weighed right at 190 lbs when I arrived 6 months ago.

I like being slimmer but I think that 30 lbs in 6 months might be pushing it. Mom - I promise I am eating.

And look it...I have even had to cut two new holes in my belt. Yikes.

I remember you daily, since I received the small card you gave out prior to leaving for Bolivia, because i placed it where i can see it when I'm on my treadmill! Prayer is good in all forms, right? It reminds me of a time when my son needed prayer and a friend, who was a runner, told me he put my son on his shoulders and ran with him every day. I believe that kind of prayer healed him. The same for you. I believe many people around here put you on their shoulders daily. I know it doesn't lessen the physical burden of illness or relieve political tensions that surround you, or even organize your priorities. But what I hope it will do is all those things by Christ's perfect healing hand. May God continue to bless and guide you through this challenging time.

Hi Curt,
You and your mission are in my prayers constantly. I am reminded of you daily by your little card you gave prior to leaving GA for Bolivia. It sits where i can see it from my treadmill every morning. I'm sure there are dozens of others from Holy Cross doing the same every day. It reminds me of a time when my son was going through chemo for leukemia when he was 20-months old. One friend from the church, in Chicago at the time, said he was a runner and every morning he would "put Anthony on my shoulders" and run with him. While your suffering and challenge isn't cancer, be aware that I, along with many others, put you on our shoulders daily, whatever your struggles. May God continually bless you and guide you through this difficult time.
